Operations Analysis Associate Manager

The Regulatory and Compliance team offers a suite of Products that provide solutions for our clients with Tax Validation, Document Exchange and Outreach campaigns that helps manage Counterparty and Vendor risk.  Our product platform includes Markit Counterparty Manager (MCPM), Markit Tax Utility (MTU), Know Your Counterparty (KYC), Know Your 3rd Party (KY3P), Corporate Actions and CTI.

 

Position summary

The Operations Analysis Associate Manager will report to the Associate Director and serving as a member of the Management Team. This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the global operations. This position is accountable for manage, developing, participating in new product development and planning, creating professional rapport with global stake holders. The Operations Associate Manager is also responsible for supervision of all direct and indirect reports in a way that is beneficial to all associates and helps to establish and maintain a positive relationship with them.

 

Duties & accountabilities

  • Manage 8-10 global operations analysts. Conduct performance evaluation, career pathing conversation, conflict management, provide project support and coach analysts in tools, techniques, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure senior management remain informed on the development of the people and progress for overall growth.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the business requirement for projects, develop effective working relationships during project implementation and ensure to continue to deliver on business as usual.
  • Manage global client services team in any capacity on a day-to-day basis and particularly during high volume periods.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Reg & Compliance’s core products such as Core, Regulations, Tax Utility, RFA / RFO, and KY3P via successful completion of the required training program and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead Global operations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiate, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Self-manage UAT testing from the operations perspective and coordinate with global support for the implementation of the required outcome
  • Develop, lead and motivate the Risk and Compliance team to ​maximize effectiveness.

 

Education and experience

  • Knowledge and experience commensurate with this role and having dealt with KYC, Regulatory & Compliance solutions with both onshore and offshore covering all service lines offerings.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge and expertise covering conduct of business matters, corporate governance matters and regulatory risk and regulatory change matters.
  • Expert in creating presentation on MS PPT for management.
  • Proven track record of delivering enhancements to process efficiency.
  • Experience of leading and motivating a multi-jurisdictional, multi specialism team
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers to management.
  • Master’s Degree 7+ experience with minimum 2 years’ experience in management role. 

Shifts are going to be rotational (US, APAC, & EMEA) with no one fixed shift.
