EDGE is assisting Nokia Networks to identify top quality engineering candidates for Fault Management Engineer – BSS position for their global delivery services hub located at Chennai


Key exposure requirements:

  1. Sound knowledge of Nokia BSS fault troubleshooting & Commissioning.
  2. Hands on experience on 2G / 3G / 4G
  3. Good knowledge in 4G (eNB & OMS)
  4. BSS/ NodeB/ eNB commissioning and troubleshooting knowledge
  5. Perform Daily Health Check of WBTS/BSS and resolution of faults.
  6. Handling Configuration Support & fault analysis
  7. First point of contact for resolution of any RF/KPI related issues

The required profile for this role is:

1.       An Engineering graduate with 6 -8 years of experience in the Telecom sector

2.       Technology – 2G, 3G, 4G

3.       Multivendor Product – Huawei, Ericsson

4.       Excellent understanding of field issues and troubleshooting methods

5.       Good understanding of transmission and radio

6.       Sound knowledge of IP Technologies

7.       Good communication skills

8.       Experience with international customers is an added advantage

9.       24/7 shifts
