The Job

As an Account manager, you will manage individual sales across identified accounts and build relationships to ensure continued business. Key deliverable include :

  • Role will involve:
  • Understanding, optimizing & packaging Advertisements & Content Inventory
  • Carrying out research on clients & understand their marketing strategy
  • Gathering market, competition/customer information to maximize revenue
  • Creating briefs according to client’s needs with support from programming/creative team
  • Pitching of advertising options to clients on Radio & Digital platforms
  • Negotiating on rates and deliverables of a campaign with the buyers and managers for closing deals
  • Ensuring timely delivery of commitment through internal coordination
  • Coordination and integration with the Programming and Creative Solutions team.
  • Keep Business information and customer records up to date
  • Focus on New Business Development, Pure Money, Client Led Activations (CLA), Advertiser Funded Programs (AFP)
  • Optimum utilization of Sales Tools (SPANCO, CPG, SFDC etc)
  • Drive Digital Sales:
    • Understanding of Digital/Social Media Sales: Metrics related to Campaigns like Impressions, Reach, CTR (Click Through Rates), Leads etc.
    • Understanding of Digital/Social Media Pricing: CPM (Cost per Mille/Thousand), Cost per Click (CPC), Cost per Video View (CPVV), Cost Per Lead (CPL), Cost per Full Video View etc
    • Understanding basic formats of Digital Sales : Display, Video (Pre Roll, Mid Roll, Native, Contextual)
    • Digital sales for Podcast, FabPlay, FabMarket & other HT Digital offerings (i.e. hindustantimes.com, livehindustan.com, livemint.com)
    • Understanding of selling influencers on social media & their relative costing
    • Effective monetization of all social/digital platforms of Fever network
    • Coordination with digital marketing team for campaign execution
Your Profile

You must be an MBA with 3-5 years of experience in sales and Account Management, including a significant stint in the media industry and retail industry. Experience in handling Direct sales with close client relationships is essential. Direct experience in Digital Media sales would be a definite advantage. This is an individual contributor role.
