Ensure 4G/5G wireless base transceiver stations meet established performance quality standards.
Establish detailed, measurable, quantified metrics and other criteria corresponding to product requirements and specifications.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test setups to verify and validate that products meet performance goals.
Evaluate the performance of the Device-Under-Test (DUT) that includes subsystems with RF, Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality to cover link quality, connectivity, reliability, throughput and protocols using baseband, signalling and RF test instruments with appropriate automation.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test setups to verify and validate that products meet radio conformance goals.
Required Qualification and experience:
Bachelors or Master degree in CSE/ECE/EEE/EI/IT.
5-8 Years of experience in the telecom industry with first-hand experience in establishing new product lines in wireles.
A strong background in wireless communications, Layer 1/PHY, protocols and be well-versed with RF test instruments.
Have a good understanding of 3G/4G/5G wireless technology, RF and networking.
Possess insights into Layer1/PHY/protocol performance issues and the ability to isolate and pinpoint sources of problems.
Hands on experience on 5G / 4G conformance 3GPP spec 38.523 36.523.
Experience working on 5G/LTE/UMTS test simulators like Anite, R&S, Anritsu.
