We are seeking to identify a Customer Technical Advocate – Cloud for their IP optical Network Unit based In Gurgaon

This position is part of the IP/MPLS Solutions team, within IP Routing unit as part of Customer Engineering. This team is responsible for end-to-end solution implementation & management of IP/MPLS transport network for multiple services along with post deployment technical escalation management & network optimization.

Key responsibilities for this role include: -

  • Act as single point of contact between customer and Client Nuage Networks internal organizations for Maintenance Technical Issues including execution of proactive deliverables, faster restoration & Dedicated Engagement.
  • Build operational efficiencies, technical relationships, customer intimacy; manage difficult situations; negotiate conflict resolution & expedite problem resolution
  • Maintain and review performance against SLA and expected improvements / alleviation of specific problems or potential future occurrence of problems, on a regular and as need basis, providing insight into real & potential threats lurking in network (SW & HW)
  • As knowledge authority of customer network in terms of all technical aspects surrounding Telco DC’s SDN content, deliver L2 Technical Support through direct access to limited unsupervised adjustments in customer network or more extensive adjustments in conjunction with customer supervision / oversight (synchronize and communicate between L2 / L3 team and customer. Ensure proper customer follow-up and escalation.

 

Candidate Profile: -

 

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in Rack Servers, Application Management & Data Center – Virtualization, Linux, Networking.
  • RHCE, CCNA/NRS-I or equivalent (at minimum) certifications desired.
  • Core hands-on over various Linux operating systems – RHEL, CentOS
  • Hands-On experience on multiple hypervisors KVM, VMware vSphere
  • Working experience over DNS & Load balancers
  • Deep understanding over OpenStack/Cloud Stack/AWS
  • Awareness of Software Defined Networking (SDN) engineering, Open vSwitch, OpenFlow, concepts and service models will be an added advantage
  • VMWARE certification as added advantage
