Our client is one of the world’s leading technology multinationals. The company offers telecom infrastructure solutions comprising hardware and software products as well as services, which are an integral part of the customers’ business ecosystem.

 

We are seeking to identify a Domain Architect based in Noida, highly skilled professional who designs NFV/SDN cloud solutions to fit their customers’ needs.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include: -

 

  • Requirements gathering with client, preparing technical proposals and presentation of solution to meet the client needs
  • Ownership of solution architecture and software design
  • Direct and mentor engineers and perform hands-on coding, testing, support, or other tasks as necessary to ensure success of the deliverables.
  • Directing and mentoring the engineering team through the full software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing or other tasks to ensure success of deliverables
  • Implement short POCs and demos in the strategic technology areas and develop showcase platforms.
  • Manage project teams and ensure delivery schedules and quality criteria are met.

 

Candidate Profile: -

 

  • B Tech or MTech in CS or equivalent and 10 - 18 years of experience in building Internet scale applications or development of telecom nodes and telecom applications
  • Previous experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect desirable
  • Deep experience in R&D or software development of telecom network nodes, applications, virtualization architectures
  • Primary Skills are NFV/SDN, Openstack, Open Source MANO, TOSCA, YANG, YAML
  • Hands on in the following technologies: Java, C++/C, python, SQL, Distributed Messaging, REST, API patterns
  • Deep knowledge of MANO based onboarding/operations and use-case development, APIs patterns for virtualized networks and orchestration technologies and solutions
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle practices, Scrum/Sprint, CI/CD tool chains, DevOps
  • Strong Linux knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of ansible/chef/puppet and container technologies like docker or container orchestration like Kubernetes will be an added advantage
